José Hernández (born March 13, 1990) is a professional male tennis player from the Dominican Republic.
Hernández reached his highest individual ranking on the ATP Tour on November 23, 2009, when he became World number 853.
Hernández is a member of the Dominican Republic Davis Cup team, having posted a 3–3 record in singles and a 2–0 record in doubles in seven ties played since 2006.
Hernández has represented the Dominican Republic in multiple international competitions. Hernández partnered with countrywoman Chandra Capozzi in the mixed doubles competition at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games, winning the bronze medal. He also represented the Dominican Republic at the 2011 Pan American Games, though did not win any medals at the Games.
